OK. So lets recap what we read in Part 1. Be a Muslim and do good deeds. Your reward: Heaven. Moving on we come to next bit. Is "getting laid" really THAT difficult for Muslim men? Or is it a sin to get laid in this world, and as a reward for not having sex, you get 72 virgins in heaven? For the first question, i`d rather not go into it. For the second, the answer is something like this:
Firstly lets see how Islam views the urge to have sex. Is it a grave sin? or is it something accepted as a part of being human.
"We have indeed created man in the best of molds. Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low. Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: for they shall have a reward unfailing." [At-Tin, 95]"
The urge to have Sex, Psychologists believe now, is considered intrinsic need of every human being. So, if Man was created in the best of molds, can this urge to have sex.....which is a need not a want , be considered an abomination? Again, I don't think so. Hence, there is no need to wait to get to heaven to "get laid". It is perfectly permissible to engage in it, right here in this world.
Furthermore:
"Permitted to you on the night of the Fasts is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and you are their garments."(2:187)
"And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between you; in this are signs for those who think."(30:21)
Hence, provided you are having sexual relations with your wife, there is nothing wrong/immoral about sex. Nothing at all to suggest, that to have sex you must wait till your in heaven. Perhaps that is why, everyone from the Imam of a mosque to a commoner indulges in this without fear of any reproach.Lastly, just take the flip side for a moment.
Muslim perpetrators of terrorism have largely lived in countries, where a lot of the negative connotations associated with "pre-marital sex" has more or less disappeared. So, logically, wouldnt it be easier and much simpler to indulge while remaining in this world...rather than by committing suicide and waiting for the hereafter?.
Thus in conclusion, people have to point out the exact reasons and causes for the tremendous surge of barbarity laced on this world. Merely simplifying things, is the reason that today, 7 years after 2001.....the world is still no safer than before
